Who is she?

I write songs because I’m fascinated by people. The contradictions we carry, the stories we tell ourselves, and the tiny moments that can change everything. Some days that means writing about heartbreak or anxiety. Other days, it means poking fun at my own spirals and trying to find the humor in being human. I’m equally drawn to melancholy and mischief, sentimentality and sarcasm. 

My current project, BUMMER, explores what can happen when you stop glorifying your own misery and start choosing joy. (Even if it feels awkward at first.) It’s about finding your way back to yourself—all the weird, the silly, and the whimsy we once had as backyard great pretenders.
